Every teacher knows the difference good curriculum management software can make in the classroom. From freeing up teacher time to do the work that matters, to creating opportunities that enable children to direct their own learning, curriculum management programmes can transform the ways that teachers teach and children learn.
ManageBac+ – Faria Education Group’s world leading curriculum management solution – has long been a go-to for international schools. Now, we’re excited to launch our extended collaboration with Faria Education Group, featuring a new version of ManageBac+ designed specifically for schools offering the International Curriculum, which will be ready for schools at the start of the academic year.
This version of ManageBac+ has been tailored to suit the precise needs of International Curriculum schools. While our schools using ManageBac+ previously needed to adapt generalised templates to suit our curricula, the new version eliminates manual workarounds and time-intensive set-up, giving schools a ready-made hub to manage every element of curriculum delivery. With smooth onboarding and streamlined admin processes, every element is built to maintain coherence and consistency of planning and learner experience.
Complete ICA adaptation means that ManageBac+ can now offer tools to weave key International Curriculum elements, like the Personal Learning Goals, throughout students’ learning experience. Students will be able to access co-curricular activity mapping and student portfolios, encouraging them to track their learning in and beyond the classroom and connect it with the Personal Learning Goals. For International Middle Years Curriculum students, dedicated templates for the Exit Point projects will enable them to direct their own learning, embrace challenge and choice, increase student agency, and independent learning.
“The new ManageBac+ will be an invaluable tool for schools looking to deliver our curricula to the highest standards with minimal fuss,” explains Jacqueline Harmer, ICA’s Head of Curriculum.
“It puts student learning front and centre, with opportunities not just for improved Subject Learning but also Personal Learning which is core to our ethos. Partnering with Faria, we are delighted to be able to offer a comprehensive curriculum management solution for international schools.”
The new version of ManageBac+ will be rolled out to schools during the next academic year, with additional features – such as academic analytics – planned for the future.
“There’s so much to look forward to with this partnership,” says Sharon West, ICA’s Head of School Services.
“When it comes to creating tailored technology for international schools, the possibilities really are limitless. We’re so pleased to be working with Faria Education Group to turn our observations of what international schools really need into practical solutions.”
MacKenzie Murray from Faria Education Group said:
“Our goal with ManageBac+ is to give international schools technology that enhances the ability to deliver their curriculum, rather than asking them to adapt around generic systems. Our close collaboration with ICA helps us turn the principles of the International Curriculum into intuitive workflows that reduce administration and support consistency. We’re excited to build on this partnership and continue developing our solutions to meet the evolving needs of educators.”
