Get to What Matters at the International Curriculum Conference 2026

The conversations shaping the future of international education start here.

As schools begin planning budgets and priorities for the year ahead, there is one event that belongs on every international educator’s calendar.

From 4 – 6 November 2026, the International Curriculum Conference (ICC) returns to Singapore, bringing together teachers, curriculum leaders, principals and system leaders from across the world to explore one shared challenge: How do we get to what really matters for learning?

Education has never evolved more rapidly. Artificial intelligence is transforming classrooms. Expectations of learners continue to change. Schools are balancing innovation with accountability, while seeking practical ways to improve teaching, learning and leadership. In a world of constant change, success isn’t about doing more. It’s about focusing on what matters most. That’s the purpose of ICC26.

This year’s theme, Get to What Matters, invites educators to step back from the noise, challenge assumptions and engage with the questions that will shape the future of international education.

Across three inspiring days of keynote presentations, interactive workshops, professional dialogue and school visits, delegates will explore evidence-informed practice, learn from leading educators and exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world.

Together we’ll tackle four essential questions:

  • What do learners need – and what do we assume?
  • What helps learning – and what just looks like it does?
  • What do we measure – and what actually matters?
  • What do we keep – and what needs to go?

Rather than offering simple answers, ICC26 creates space for meaningful conversations; bringing together research, classroom practice and leadership experience to help schools make confident decisions about their future.

Whether you’re leading curriculum development, improving teaching and learning, exploring the opportunities and challenges of AI, strengthening assessment or driving whole-school improvement, you’ll leave with practical strategies, fresh perspectives and professional connections that continue long after the conference has ended.

Sarah Blackmore, Director of the International Curriculum Association, said: “Schools today face increasingly complex decisions. The challenge isn’t finding more ideas but knowing which ones will make the greatest difference for learners. ICC26 has been designed to bring educators together to ask better questions, learn from one another and focus on what matters most. I hope every delegate leaves Singapore with greater clarity, renewed confidence and practical ideas they can put into action immediately.”

As ICA’s flagship annual event, ICC26 brings together a truly global community of educators committed to improving learning. Every year, educators from diverse countries, cultures and school contexts come together to exchange ideas, challenge thinking, and build professional relationships that extend well beyond the conference itself.

The value extends far beyond the conference programme. Through workshops, keynote sessions, school visits, and informal conversations, you’ll gain practical strategies, fresh perspectives, and professional connections that continue long after the event ends. You’ll return to your school with new ideas, renewed energy, and a deeper understanding of how leading international schools are responding to the opportunities and challenges facing education today.

For those looking to experience authentic practice firsthand, our optional pre-conference Learning Visits on 3 November offer the opportunity to visit one of our host schools in Singapore. Observe learning in action, meet school leaders and teachers, explore learning environments and gain practical insights that you can take back to your own school.

Many schools now include ICC as a cornerstone of their annual professional learning strategy, recognising the lasting value of global collaboration, high-quality professional learning and access to an international network of educational leaders.

First Release price tickets are available from just £697 per person until 31 July 2026. Schools can also secure this rate with a £100 deposit per delegate, with the remaining balance due by 15 September 2026, making it easier to plan professional learning budgets in advance.

The future of international education is shaped by the conversations we have today. Join us in Singapore and help get to what matters.
