The unit is 'Negaraku'. This unit was introduced to us in conjunction of Malaysia's Independence Day and we have been using this unit since the introduction every year in August-September"

IMYC Teacher of the Year Award

Sarah's approach to her role as Key Stage 3 Leader, IMYC teacher AND English teacher is truly commendable"

Jay-R Evangelista from Hope International Academy Okinawa - "Jay-R consistently creates engaging, connected, and rigorous learning. On top of the high expectations he sets for his students, he has an uncanny ability to create a safe, welcoming, and loving environment that all students feel they can fail (that is growth!) and achieve"

Leader of the Year Award

Peter Tunna from North Zealand International School - "Supportive has time for everyone, mentors staff members, leads through quality teaching and learning of the IPC. Promotes the IPC and ICA, recent lying spending time supporting a new IPC school in Japan to begin implementation of the curriculum"

Tammy Cyngier from Crescendo HELP International School - "Ms. Tammy goes above and beyond to help all the staff at CHIS with the IPC curriculum. She assists with the planning, often having one on one discussions and suggesting new and effective ways to make the lesson more engaging or adapting it to our own students. She has been the driving force for IPC at our school and is the biggest reason why were were able to achieve IPC Accreditation recently"

Helen Marshall from French International School Hong Kong - "A visionary for the IMYC at the school. International Curriculum Association

The International Curriculum Association (ICA) brings together the three age ranges of the International Curriculum: the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) for learners aged 2-5+ years old; the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for learners aged 5-11 years old; and the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) for learners aged 11-14 years old, with Professional Development for teachers and leaders and a two-stage Recognition and Accreditation process for schools, to ensure that with teachers, leaders and schools, we are improving learning, together.
